Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Conyers GA. Curently in Peachtree Corners. Will be moving to Conyers.

Salary: $60000 $70000 per year Bonus

About Us: We are a dynamic and growing company in the furniture and household items industry. Our primary clients are Interior Designers and Senior Living. Wa are currently undergoing a transition to a new warehouse facility in Conyers GA. As we expand we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in establishing efficient workflows in our new location.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Operations Officer to develop and implement effective warehouse strategies and procedures.
• Oversee a team of 1014 warehouse staff providing leadership guidance and support to ensure operational excellence.
• Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving including the inspection storage and distribution of furniture and household items.
• Coordinate with suppliers carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
• Implement safety protocols and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to create a secure working environment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and streamline operations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for warehouserelated inquiries and escalate issues as needed to the Operations Officer.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3 years) in warehouse management or a similar role within the logistics industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
• Solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes including freight forwarding and transportation logistics.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET with occasional weekend availability for deliveries or urgent matters.
