We are currently seeking a Senior PR Manager for iOS.
Description
This role will lead the global communications strategy for iOS, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, as well as many Apple apps including FaceTime, Messages, Safari, Photos, Notes, and others. Working with PR teams in the US and internationally, this role will help to build and execute global launches and news announcements, identify and manage issues in a dynamic environment and continuous news cycle, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and engage third-party partners.
Candidates should have strong media relations skills, experience working with social influencers, the ability to effectively distill complex technologies into easily understood messaging, and demonstrated experience managing launches, successful momentum storytelling, and crisis communications. Ideal candidates also have proven leadership skills with an ability to manage teams and develop talent.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years experience in public relations, either at a PR agency or within a corporate setting.
- Past leadership experience, managing and developing teams.

- Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, see around corners and apply insights to the team’s work.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,800 and $279,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
