Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team! This hybrid position is based in the Huntsville, AL area, with on-site work at Redstone Arsenal. A relocation bonus is available for qualified candidates.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting complex data mining, statistical analysis, and trend evaluations, while translating this data into actionable insights for decision-makers. You will also oversee the preparation of reports and ensure the quality of deliverables. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects that support both federal and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced data mining, statistical analysis, trend, and causal analysis.
Lead the development and monitoring of monthly contract reports and deliverables.
Work as part of an operations research team, translating technical data into insights that are easy for operational managers to understand.
Ensure quality control and accuracy in products delivered to clients.
Create and update training materials to help team members understand analytic tools and methodologies.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to create comprehensive reports for business areas.
Support pattern analysis and make data-driven recommendations to operational managers.

Qualifications:

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL (relocation assistance provided).
Security Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance required (or eligibility to obtain one).
Experience: 8+ years in a technical field, with strong experience in advising senior decision-makers.
Education: Bachelor's degree required (preferably in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field).
Strong skills in statistics, data analysis, and programming (R, Python, SQL).
Proficient in data visualization and data cleaning.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
