Job Description

Job Title: Private Duty Nurse (RN, LVN, LPN) – Day and Overnight Shifts Available Location: Austin, Texas Start Date: Immediate Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Hiring multiple positions to cover 24/7 care. Applicants will work three 12-hour shifts per week.) Position Summary: We are seeking a team of compassionate and experienced Private Duty Nurses to care for a client who is non-verbal, developmentally delayed, and weighs 80 lbs. This long-term opportunity offers comprehensive training and professional growth opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care according to the care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Perform wound care and assist with showering/bathing.
• Manage G-tube feedings and perform frequent mouth care.
• Lift, turn, suction, and transfer the client via lifting or Hoyer Lift.
• Support physical therapy recommendations and exercises.
• Ensure the client's safety and comfort throughout the night.
• Engage the client in activities such as talking, singing, laughing, walking, and playing music.
• Communicate effectively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid license in Texas. (RN, LVN, LPN)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Experience with medication administration, wound care, and G-tube feedings.
• Ability to lift and transfer the client.
• Experience with special needs clients.
• Energetic, patient, and compassionate.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
