We have openings for legal support staff in our San Diego office as noted below. There may be flexible options for successful candidates, including fully remote and hybrid opportunities. Paralegal (1+ years) We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Litigation Paralegal working for the Employment Practice Group in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of Paralegal experience. Qualifications: Ideal candidate should have some knowledge of litigation support and case management, experience organizing large caseloads, discovery, trial preparation, experience assisting at trial, and familiarity with the California and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence. Responsibilities include client contact, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, indexing, exhibit preparation, investigation and research. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) ABA approved Paralegal certificate Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity or comparable litigation support software Strong analytical and written communication skills are required. Salary – $53,000 – $70,000 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Floating and Litigation Legal Secretaries (3 years) We have immediate openings for Floating and Litigation Legal Secretaries in our San Diego office. Requirements: Candidates should be familiar with the State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures. Experience filing/serving in California and out of state as well. Experience filing in the Court of Appeals is preferred, but not required. This position requires a candidate to provide administrative support to the attorneys. Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery. Successful candidates should have experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience using Milana calendaring program is beneficial. Candidates must have excellent analytical and written communication skills. Candidates must be highly organized, independent self-starters who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment. We offer a flexible, friendly and casual environment in our centrally located downtown San Diego office and the ability to work remotely is an option. We offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package, including eligibility for subjective bonus. The yearly salary range is between $63,000 – $75,000 depending on location and experience.
