Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, to support the company's financial health and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and manage the company's financial planning processes, including annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Manage external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and tax filings.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  3. Cash Flow Management:

    • Forecast cash flow positions and oversee cash flow planning and investment strategies.
    • Manage relationships with financial institutions and oversee banking activities.
  4. Strategic Financial Leadership:

    • Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management on business planning and strategic initiatives.
    • Identify and analyze business trends, opportunities, and risks to support long-term financial sustainability.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  6. Financial Systems and Processes:

    • Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
