Job Overview:
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Converging Resources Corporation, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and automation of our cloud-based platforms and developing tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate is a self-starter willing to take ownership of our platform infrastructure and can meet the requirements below. We build and operate a robust SAAS platform that integrates and complements the systems required for high volume E-commerce retailers.

· Linux Networking
· Linux Security
· Backup and Recovery
· Apache Web Servers
· Web Application Firewalls
· Load Balancers
· Proxy Server Configuration
· Package Management
· High Availability Systems
· Critical Operations on Live Systems
· IDS/IPS Systems
· Debian
· Comfort with the command line
· Defining, creating, testing, and executing Operations Procedures
· Database Administration and Maintenance (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL).
· Build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment
· Implement, configure, and manage Docker containers
· Use Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources, creating reusable and scalable infrastructure as code (IaC)
Skills and Qualifications:
· Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and networks
· Experience with AWS services and cloud technologies
· Ability to operate accurately in high pressure situations
· Capability to quickly diagnose and repair network issues
· Capacity to understand and debug live web applications
· Support patching and upgrading systems with zero downtime
· Proven track record administering high availability secure environments
· In office, local to the Alpharetta area
Education and Experience:
· 2-5 years industry experience
